Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a French Tutor based in/around Montclair, NJ. The French Tutor will be responsible for delivering one-on-one in-person tutoring sessions customized to the learning needs and goals of each student. Key responsibilities include lesson planning, supporting language fluency and comprehension, and building a positive and engaging learning environment. The tutor will also maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and address any specific concerns.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in French Teaching and Tutoring skills.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build rapport and foster effective learning.
- Experience with Online Tutoring is a plus, though not required.
- Previous teaching experience and knowledge in educational best practices.
- Ability to adapt teaching techniques to diverse learning styles and student needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or a related field preferred.
