Location: Gorham, Maine
Pay: $23 - $25 per hour (to start – depending on experience)
Schedule: Full time – Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
We are a licensed cannabis trimming company seeking a detail-oriented Weighing & Bagging Technician to accurately weigh, package, and label cannabis products. This position is crucial to our operations - attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to be on your feet for 8 hours a day are important to succeeding in the role. Applicants should have exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, touch-up, and weigh trimmed flower to required specifications
- Bag, seal, and label products accurately
- Record all weights into work order
- Maintain clean, organized work areas
- Follow all safety and compliance procedures
- Report discrepancies to supervisors
- Work with the team to ensure jobs are completed and all SOPs are followed.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Reliable and punctual
- Must meet state requirements to work in cannabis - 21 only (we will help you apply for an RIC through the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy if you are not already licensed)
- Willingness to work / collaborate with others, help when asked, and show respect and curtesy towards clients and buyers.
- Ability to keep a calm mindset in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Cannabis processing or packaging experience
- Experience using scales
- Data entry
