Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential Airbnb properties, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met or exceeded.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to dust surfaces, clean floors, carpets, and upholstery effectively.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding linens, towels, and guest clothing items with care.
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces by wiping down counters, appliances, fixtures, and furniture regularly.
- Manage heavy lifting tasks for moving furniture or large items safely during deep cleans or setup.
- Ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules while managing multiple properties efficiently through excellent time management skills.
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services or housekeeping management is preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces using various methods including dusting, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation techniques, and proper manual handling procedures is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs and preferences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with excellent time management in fast-paced environments.
- Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, steam cleaners, buffers or pressure washers is a plus.
