What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Associate position at Premium Property Management?
About the Company
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing accounting and administrative duties. You will support our quickly expanding business growth and accounting department by processing invoices, transactions, and expenses and updating our accounting database. This position will allow you to grow your accounting knowledge and experience.
The Accounting Associate will work collaboratively with the teams of Premium Property Management, Christopher Architecture & Interiors, and Christopher Collection.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice verification, approval, and payment
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, payment processing, and customer communication
- Manage Company Credit Cards, including collecting receipts from staff and ensure proper coding of expenses
Other Duties, including but not limited to:
- Deposit checks weekly
- Reconcile accounts and reports as needed
- Process journal entries and adjustments in accounting system
- Perform administrative support functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study
- 1-3 years of experience working in accounting preferred
Required Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented
Preferred Skills
- Preferred experience with Buildium, BQE Core, Quickbooks, and MS Excel
