Job Overview
Premium Power Services, located in Lincoln University, PA has an immediate need for Generator / Heavy Equipment Technicians. The company is willing to train individuals with a diesel engine repair background. These positions report to the Manager of Field Services. Overtime averages about 10 hours per week but more is available for experienced applicants if they desire it. Some Saturdays are required based on customer needs. Health benefits to include medical, dental, vision and prescription 100% paid by the company. Company vehicle, phone and equipment provided.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Provides diesel generator maintenance and repair services to Commercial and Industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform maintenance and repair services on diesel generators ranging from 25 kW to 2500 kW.
  • Provides written field service reports to customers at the completion of all services.
  • Manages projects, as assigned.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of conduct and appearance so as to reflect positively on the company image.
  • Responsible for company-owned equipment.
  • Gathers information and pricing to generate proposals for repair projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working knowledge mechanic and electronic diesel engines.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot engine components
  • Basic electrical knowledge preferred but not required
  • Must reside within 45-minute commute to shop.
  • Certifications are preferred but not required
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test and other required drug tests as needed.

Pay: $22.00 - $40.00 per hour
