Pay Rate: Min $20.50 to Max $24.50

Summary

This is a Working Leader role. Assists the Shipping Supervisor in coordinating shipping operations to ensure timely, accurate, and safe loading of shipments. Maintains communication with team members and supports operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the loading of trucks ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Support the Shipping Supervisor in executing shipping schedules and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure all shipments are loaded correctly and safely following Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform sanitation duties.
• Report equipment issues to the Shipping Supervisor.
• Operates Forklifts.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of all shipments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Shipping Supervisor.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Ability to read and interpret documents and communicate effectively.

Basic math skills required to maintain accurate shipping records.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Basic computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing software.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and moderate noise levels.
