The Valet Attendant plays an important role in creating a welcoming and professional guest experience. This position is responsible for safely parking and retrieving vehicles, assisting guests with questions, and supporting smooth operations at Premium Parking locations. Valet Attendants maintain a polished appearance, uphold service standards, and ensure a safe, efficient flow of vehicles throughout the facility.

- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
- Provide clear directions, answer questions, and assist with any parking related needs.
- Maintain a courteous and service focused approach at all times.
- Safely park, maneuver, and retrieve vehicles of various sizes with both automatic and standard transmissions.
- Issue tickets, record necessary details, and follow all location specific procedures for validations, hotel guests, events, or monthly parkers.
- Return keys promptly to the designated storage area and maintain an organized keyboard.
- Document all preexisting vehicle damage according to operational procedures to reduce liability.
- Operate equipment such as car lifts or man lifts when applicable, following all safety protocols.
- Direct incoming vehicles using approved hand signals or a flag to maintain clear entry lanes.
- Keep all drive lanes clear by ensuring vehicles pull up efficiently and are parked appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly parking environment by removing debris, sweeping, and emptying trash as needed.
- Assist with signage setup, adjustments, and replacements.
- Immediately communicate safety hazards, equipment issues, or unusual activity to leadership.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper equipment use and adherence to traffic flow guidelines.
- Carry a valid Driver’s License at all times while operating vehicles.
- Support special event operations by managing increased traffic flow and guest needs.
- Complete required checklists and operational documentation for the shift.
- Scan tickets, employee barcodes, or vehicle information based on site technology.
Required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- 3 years of licensed driving experience
- Must be able to drive and operate a standard and automatic transmission vehicle comfortably
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience preferred
- A minimum of 6 months of work experience preferred
- Walk at a brisk pace or jog
- Bending, sitting, and standing repeatedly
- Pulling and pushing, as in opening and closing car doors, consistently for entire shift
- May be required to bend and twist as in getting in and out of a vehicle
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to push up to 100 pounds on a luggage cart
- Must be able to stand, walk and/or jog for an entire shift
- Depth perception: the ability to identify which of several objects is closer or farther away
- Exposure to all weather conditions, including but not limited to: rain, cold, heat, and humidity
