- Maintain workplace safety by completing JSAs, conducting equipment inspections, and maintaining an orderly shop environment
- Follow SOPs for all tasks, including pre- and post-job inspections, and address non-conformities promptly
- Perform vehicle maintenance, safety training, and cross-training during non-billable hours
- Complete accurate job-related paperwork, track inventory, and maintain company tools
- Read hydraulic and electrical schematics for Top Drive systems
- Use hand tools, oscilloscopes, and multimeters effectively
- Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs, RS Logix 5000, Siemens Step 7, PanelView HMIs, and Factory Talk Software
- Familiarity with communication systems (Ethernet, Modbus, etc.)
- Be on-call according to the rotation schedule
- Maintain rig inventory and track expendables
- Drive between rigs to inspect, service, and troubleshoot equipment
- Handle customer billing and de-escalate situations as needed
- Communicate with company personnel regarding work plans and updates
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 yearsβ field or related experience
- Preferred experience with Top Drive mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Top Drive equipment
- Excellent communication skills and leadership potential
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic familiarity with AC/DC drives
- Highly organized and able to handle stressful situations
- Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by a 24/7 operation
- Ability to walk, lift, and operate equipment as needed in a field and warehouse environment
