We are looking for a Field Sales & Service Technician who thrives in the field, excels at solving problems, and knows how to build strong customer relationships. This role blends hands-on technical work, customer support, and sales strategy—perfect for someone ready to take their oilfield experience to the next level.
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Prepare and deliver RCD equipment to the field
- Assist with installation of RCD body, bearings, and sealing elements
- Train rig crews on RCD operation and maintenance
- Visit wellsites to check on deployed systems and maintain relationships with rig personnel
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Identify opportunities to upsell products or services
- Demonstrate product features and value to potential and existing customers
- Support safety and compliance through proper documentation (incident reports, NCRs, etc.)
- Collaborate with the sales team to help drive revenue and customer satisfaction
- Occasionally work as a Pressure Control Operator on MPD jobs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of hands-on field experience
- Proficiency in equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of pressure control and MPD software systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confidence to explain product benefits and train rig crews
- Professionalism in managing customer inquiries and resolving issues
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, field-based environments
- Frequent standing, walking, and manual handling of tools
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Work in outdoor environments with varying weather conditions (heat, cold, etc.)
- Extended hours working in field and shop environments
