Position Overview
We are seeking experienced, customer-focused Call Center Representatives / Patient Coordinators to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless patient experience by managing inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, and supporting overall patient flow across our medical centers.
This position is available in-person in Miami, FL and remotely for candidates based in Puerto Rico.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle high-volume inbound and outbound patient calls professionally and efficiently
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments across multiple specialties
- Verify patient demographics, insurance, and registration information
- Provide accurate information regarding services, providers, and locations
- Coordinate patient care by directing calls to appropriate departments
- Document all patient interactions in the system
- Maintain call quality, productivity, and customer service standards
- Assist with patient follow-ups, reminders, and appointment confirmations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of call center or medical front desk experience (required)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience working in a high-volume call environment
- Knowledge of AdvancedMD (EHR/PM system) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with multi-specialty scheduling is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
- Miami, FL: In-person role within a fast-paced medical call center environment
- Puerto Rico: Fully remote position (must have reliable internet and a quiet workspace)
