Tailor / Seamstress

Job Description:
Premium Custom Tailoring is a growing alterations and custom garment business seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress/Tailor to join our team. As a newer and expanding company, we are looking for someone who is not only talented in their craft but also excited about the opportunity to grow alongside the business.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of garment alterations and repairs, ensuring each piece fits properly and meets our quality standards. You will work on a range of garments including everyday clothing, formalwear, and occasional specialty pieces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clothing alterations such as hemming, tapering, taking in/out garments, and zipper replacements
• Work with a variety of fabrics and garment types
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in every piece
• Follow client requests and garment specifications accurately
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Assist with fittings and client interactions when needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in sewing and garment alterations preferred
• Ability to operate sewing machines (indistrial and non-industrial) confidently
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn and grow with a new and evolving business

Pay: $16.90 - $25.00 per hour
