Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery, including stamping presses and assembly line equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to prevent downtime.
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements for production runs.
- Package finished products according to specifications, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with machining processes, stamping presses, and logic controllers is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work are essential for success in this role.
