Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle exterior washing using professional cleaning equipment, ensuring surfaces are spotless and free of dirt or debris
- Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing to restore shine and remove minor scratches or imperfections using automotive buffers and polishing tools
- Detail vehicle interiors by vacuuming, shampooing carpets, cleaning upholstery, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring a fresh, clean environment for customers
- Apply window tinting and other cosmetic enhancements as needed with precision and care
- Follow safe work practices when handling cleaning chemicals, heavy lifting tasks, and operating manual transmissions or automotive buffing equipment
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness throughout the detailing process, ensuring each vehicle meets high standards of presentation before delivery
- Use proper janitorial techniques to keep the auto detailing facility organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations
Qualifications
- Experience operating standard passenger cars and familiarity with vehicle handling procedures
- Knowledge of safe work practices related to chemical use, heavy lifting, and equipment operation in an auto detailing environment
- Skilled in vehicle paint correction, buffing, cleaning, and interior detailing techniques
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as automotive buffers, vacuums, pressure washers, and other detailing tools
- Prior experience working in an auto detailing facility or car wash environment is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks and stand for extended periods during detailed cleaning processes
- Basic understanding of driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Additional skills such as window tinting or custodial experience are advantageous
