Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 5
years of relevant experience in production machinery troubleshooting and maintenance.
This role is crucial to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of our water bottling
plant. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and
electrical systems, with a focus on maximizing equipment efficiency and minimizing
downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Lead troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities for all production machinery,
ensuring minimal production downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to increase machinery
reliability.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and address mechanical and electrical
issues.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to optimize machine efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized repairs and equipment upgrades.
- Train and supervise other technicians on equipment troubleshooting and best
practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant productivity.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a water bottling or
beverage manufacturing facility.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of production machinery.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
