Role Description
The lead Audiologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive hearing evaluations, fitting and programming hearing aids, and offering auditory rehabilitation services to patients of all ages. They will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure individualized patient care and provide education on hearing loss prevention. This is a part-time, on-site position located in Collegeville, PA.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in performing hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and auditory rehabilitation
- Knowledgeable in counseling patients and families about hearing loss prevention and management
- Experience with maintaining detailed patient records and reporting as per professional standards
- Proficiency in using audiology equipment and software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse patients and colleagues
- Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) and appropriate state licensure required
- Commitment to providing patient-centered, culturally sensitive care
- Experience in pediatric audiology is a plus
