About the Role
Premiere Aesthetics Institute is hiring Esthetics Instructors for our Post Falls campus. We are currently considering candidates for both daytime instructional hours and evening instructional hours, with scheduling options depending on campus needs, student cohorts, and applicant availability.
This is a great opportunity for a licensed esthetician who enjoys mentoring others, supporting student growth, and helping future professionals build confidence in the treatment room and classroom.
The Esthetics Instructor teaches theory and hands-on esthetics curriculum, supports students during practical training, provides feedback on student performance, and helps maintain a positive, professional learning environment.
Candidates who are not currently licensed as esthetics instructors may still qualify if they meet Idaho’s instructor licensure pathway requirements.
What You’ll Do
As an Esthetics Instructor, you will:
- Teach esthetics theory and practical skills, including skincare, facials, hair removal, makeup, and sanitation
- Demonstrate esthetic procedures and guide students through hands-on practice
- Evaluate student performance through exams, quizzes, practical assessments, and skill check-offs
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to help students improve
- Support student professionalism, classroom engagement, and state board readiness
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, evaluations, and practical documentation
- Help keep classrooms, clinic areas, tools, equipment, and supplies clean, organized, and ready for use
- Communicate student needs, classroom concerns, and program updates with campus leadership
- Support a positive, structured, and professional campus environment
Qualifications
Required:
- Current Idaho Esthetician License
- At least 5 years of licensed esthetics experience within the last 7 years, unless already licensed as an instructor
- Strong knowledge of esthetics theory, techniques, sanitation, and industry standards
- Professional communication and organization skills
- Ability to mentor students with patience, structure, and professionalism
- Reliability and a genuine interest in student success
Preferred:
- Current Idaho Esthetics Instructor License
- Prior teaching, training, coaching, or leadership experience
- Experience preparing students or team members for exams, practical skills, or professional expectations
Instructor License Pathway
You do not need to already hold an instructor license to be considered.
Candidates who have a current Idaho Esthetician License and meet Idaho’s experience requirements may qualify if they can either:
- Pass the instructor licensing examination within 60 days of hire; or
- Provide documentation of 12 college credit hours in education, speech communications, psychology, or sociology to waive the exam requirement
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, demonstrate esthetic procedures safely, move between classrooms/student spa/front desk areas, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
