Traveling Tower Construction Worker

Job Overview

Premier Services is looking for a dependable, hardworking Traveling Tower Construction Worker to join our telecommunications construction team based out of ELKO, NV

This is a full-time, traveling position. Candidates must be comfortable traveling frequently and working at various job sites throughout California and surrounding areas. We are looking for team members who are safety-minded, reliable, willing to learn, and comfortable working in an outdoor construction environment.

Experience in telecommunications, tower construction, or general construction is preferred, but we are willing to consider motivated candidates who are eager to learn and grow with our company.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, installation, maintenance, and upgrades of telecommunications towers and related equipment
• Perform tower climbing and ground construction duties as assigned
• Assist with installation and removal of antennas, mounts, coax, fiber, cabling, and other telecommunications equipment
• Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment
• Follow all company and job-site safety procedures
• Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall-protection equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work site
• Work effectively as part of a crew and follow direction from foremen and supervisors
• Complete assigned work safely and efficiently
• Travel frequently and stay out of town as required by project schedules
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to travel frequently
• Valid driver's license required
• Must be comfortable working at heights and climbing telecommunications towers
• Ability to perform physically demanding construction work, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working outdoors
• Must be dependable and able to work well as part of a team
• Strong attention to safety
• Ability to follow instructions and company procedures
• Construction, telecommunications, tower climbing, or related experience is preferred
• Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule based on project and travel requirements

Travel Requirements

Frequent travel is required for this position. Employees may be required to stay out of town for multiple days at a time depending on project location and schedule. Applicants should be comfortable with regular travel before applying.

Expected hours: 40.0 – 70.0 per week
