Support academic and clinical growth while upholding the highest standards and professionalism. As a nurse aide instructor, you will help develop compassionate, competent nurse aides and support program development.Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Aide Instructor Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain lesson plans and instructional materials.Manage and document attendance, teaching performance/progress and evaluations.Maintain required program hours.Schedule students for state competency exams and maintain organized records.Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulatory requirements, including OBRA, Pennsylvania Department of Education, and the Department of Health guidelinesParticipate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to enhance program delivery.Report incidents, concerns, and student issues to the Program Administrator and Program Director in a timely manner.Serve as the primary point of contact for student grievances, offering guidance and resolution.Assist the Program Administrator and Program Coordinator with administrative tasks and program enhancements.Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Aide Instructor Required qualifications:A current, unrestricted PA RN license.Must possess Teaching the Educator/Train the Trainer Certification (TTE) to be considered.Approval from the Department of Education before teaching begins.At least 2 years of nursing experience, with 1 year in long-term carePrevious experience teaching an approved NATCEP curriculum and clinical skills.Strong communication, leadership, and instructional skillsMust be able to stand, walk, and supervise students in the classroom, lab, and clinical areas for extended periods #phADMIN
