What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-op/PACU RN position at Premier Surgical Institute?
The Pre-Op/PACU Nurse will provide nursing care to the patient during the pre-operative and post-operative phases. The RN will perform nursing activities in multiple areas of the ASC to promote safe, efficient, and exceptional patient care and to serve as the patient advocate. The RN will work in conjunction with the Surgeons and Anesthesia team to prepare patients for surgery and/or monitor them post-operatively for progress/complications. The RN will perform nursing activities in multiple areas of the ASC to promote safe, efficient, and exceptional patient care and to serve. The RN will have strong knowledge of pain management procedures, and administration of conscious sedation when needed.
Pay: From $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
