Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. This is a critical role that requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgery by ensuring proper positioning and sterile draping
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment
- Administer medications and intravenous fluids as needed
- Document patient information, surgical procedures, and post-operative care accurately
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in [state]
- Minimum of [3] years of experience in an Operating Room setting
- Proficiency in Pain management / Podiatry/ surgical instruments/ Sterile processing
- Familiarity with ambulatory surgery centers and outpatient procedures
- Knowledge of OR turn over and keeping the flow

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
