What are the responsibilities and job description for the Blaster / Painter position at Premier Staffing?
Summary: This is a full-time Painter/Blaster based out of the Carencro, LA Shop, and reports to the shop supervisor position.
Experienced blaster / painter operating a sand blast booth, as well as painting equipment. Involves sanding and prepping shipping containers for paint.
Qualifications:
- Willing to work set hours
- Required to pass all drug-related and background testing
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation
- Experience driving forklift
- Accurately tracked job assignments and time expenditures
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have two years of industrial painting/blasting experience.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Physical Demands:
- Often required to lift heavy objects
- Spend long periods of time standing
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
