Civil Litigation Paralegal

Position Overview
Premier Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm seeking a Civil Litigation Paralegal to support their growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced litigation professional who is confident managing a fast-paced workload, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and can independently move cases forward from initial file review through completion.
The successful candidate will bring strong civil litigation experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. This position requires someone who is comfortable working autonomously, communicating with clients and legal professionals, and stepping in to support the team as needed.
Responsibilities
Case Management & Litigation Support
· Process and manage case files from start to finish, ensuring files are organized, current, and prepared for attorney review.
· Review and analyze new case materials to identify deadlines, scheduling requirements, missing documentation, and immediate case needs.
· Manage case calendars, deadlines, docket items, and scheduling of meetings, depositions, hearings, filings, mediations, and trials.
· Assist with preparation for depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, including exhibits, discovery materials, and supporting documentation.
· Prepare closing documents, including releases, orders, stipulations, and related materials.
Legal Documentation
· Prepare legal documentation and correspondence for clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, courts, and other involved parties.
· Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, notices, extensions, and other litigation documents.
· Prepare briefs, memorandums, record summaries, discovery summaries, and other case-related documents.
· Perform dictation and transcription of legal documents.
· Conduct legal research as needed to support case preparation.
Client & Court Communication
· Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties regarding case status, scheduling, and documentation.
· Maintain accurate case records and update files with communications and case activity.
Administrative & Office Support
· Enter billable time and expenses into legal billing software.
· Assist with incoming calls, mail review, and general office support.
· Participate in rotating office responsibilities, including weekly mail runs.
· Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Attorney and/or Office Manager.
Qualifications
· Previous experience as a Civil Litigation Paralegal or similar legal support role required.
· Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes, deadlines, pleadings, discovery, and court procedures.
· Experience preparing legal documents and managing case files independently.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
· Proficiency with legal billing software preferred.
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and team members.

Salary : $23 - $30
