Inventory Control Team Lead
JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB DUTIES & RESPONBILTIES
- Reviews and monitors the timely confirmation and accuracy of inbound inventory, outbound shipments, and book adjustment transactions to ensure accurate inventory management records.
- Coordinates and performs the taking of physical inventories in accordance with the manufacturers’ requirements, inbe3stigates inventory variances, directs the performance of daily/weekly cycle accounts and adjusts inventory records if necessary.
- Maintaining the integrity of the facility through cycle counts and various audits.
- Monitors the activities associated with raw materials.
- Preparing and reconciling required daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and production reports.
- Coordinates damaged and defective products, ensuring it is accounted for and properly handled by destroying, reconditioning, or returning to producing plant.
- Supervises all inventory control personnel, if any, to achieve objectives relating to inventory control management, provides communication and suggests inventory improvements to manager. Provides back up to purchasing agent, if necessary.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Effectively communicate to associates and customers in person and via telephone, verbally and non-verbally to accomplish necessary objectives.
- Effectively review performance of subordinates, if any, to ensure compliance to requirements.
- Facilitating regular safety meetings and assuring the maintenance of a safe work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates/bachelor’s degree in management, Logistics, Supply Chain (Preferred)
- Inventory Control: 5-7 years (Preferred)
- Supervisory: 3 years (Preferred)
- SAP: 3 Years (MUST)
- Ability to learn technical material accomplish necessary objectives.
- Excellent organization and analytical skills
- Prioritization and problem-solving skills essential.
- MS office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
