1st Shift Caregiver

Location: 500 Wedgewood Court, Bucyrus, OH, 44820

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1st Shift Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to our residents at our Bucyrus location. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote a safe and comfortable environment, and ensure the well-being of those in our care during the first shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to the nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Follow care plans and adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Ability to work the 1st shift schedule consistently.

Shift Details

This position is for the 1st shift, typically from morning to early afternoon hours. Specific shift times will be provided during the interview process.
