Night Shift Safety Professional – Hyperscale/Data Center Construction

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Night Shift Safety Professional to oversee safety operations during overnight hours on construction sites. This role is vital in ensuring a secure, compliant, and hazard-free environment for all personnel working during the night shift. As a key member of our safety team, you will implement risk management strategies, enforce occupational health standards, and uphold OSHA and NEC regulations to promote a culture of safety excellence. Your expertise will help prevent incidents, manage compliance, and support the overall success of our construction projects.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive safety inspections of construction sites during night hours to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with OSHA, NEC, and other relevant safety standards, providing immediate guidance when deviations occur.
• Manage risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential hazards specific to nighttime operations.
• Oversee occupational health practices, including ergonomic assessments and injury prevention initiatives tailored for night shift workers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of safety inspections, incident reports, and compliance records using construction management software.
• Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate safety training sessions and enforce safety policies effectively.
• Respond promptly to safety incidents or emergencies, coordinating with emergency responders as needed to ensure swift resolution.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of risk management principles and occupational health best practices within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations, NEC standards, workers' compensation procedures, and compliance management tools.
• Experience in construction site management, including construction management software and site-specific safety protocols.
• Proven ability to conduct thorough site inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations during night shifts.
• Excellent communication skills for training team members and liaising with regulatory agencies or emergency responders.
• Ability to interpret complex safety regulations and implement effective compliance strategies on active construction sites.

• Construction Safety and large projects: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CHST (Preferred)
• CSST (Preferred)
• OSHA 500 (Preferred)
• CSP (Preferred)
• STS-C (Preferred)
