Position Overview
The Carpenter is responsible for performing residential and commercial reconstruction following fire, water, mold, storm, and other property damage. This position completes a variety of rough and finish carpentry tasks while helping restore homes and businesses to their pre-loss condition.
Every day is different. You'll work on a variety of projects, collaborate with a great team, and help customers rebuild after unexpected events.
What You'll Do
- Perform rough and finish carpentry on residential and commercial reconstruction projects.
- Frame walls, install doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and other finish carpentry.
- Install drywall, tape, texture, paint, flooring, and other finish materials.
- Complete minor plumbing, electrical, and general construction repairs as needed.
- Read work orders and complete projects according to company quality standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Communicate professionally with customers and fellow team members.
- Utilize company mobile technology to document work performed and project updates.
- Travel between multiple job sites as needed.
- Follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Support teammates and other departments to keep projects on schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Two (2) or more years of carpentry or general construction experience preferred.
- Experience with rough and finish carpentry.
- Working knowledge of drywall, painting, flooring, and general construction.
- Restoration industry experience is a plus, but not required.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Basic hand tools required.
- Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for daily documentation.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality workmanship.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Safely operate hand and power tools.
- Ability to work on ladders and in confined spaces when necessary.

Pay: Starting at $25.00 per hour (DOE)
