Safety Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Safety Engineer to support safety operations on water infrastructure construction projects. This role is responsible for promoting safe work practices, supporting jobsite safety programs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards across active construction environments. The position offers hands-on field experience with strong mentorship and growth opportunities within a team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support jobsite safety efforts including training, inspections, monitoring, and planning
• Promote and reinforce safe work practices, proper use of tools, and safety equipment
• Assist in implementing and maintaining project-specific safety programs and procedures
• Conduct safety observations, audits, and incident support activities
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain a strong safety culture
• Maintain clear communication with engineers, managers, and trades professionals across the project
• Participate in both field and office-based safety activities as needed
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field
• Experience working in construction environments and team-based settings
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Interest in construction safety and field-based project work
