What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Maintenance Tech position at Premier Real Estate Management Inc?
We are looking for a professional, reliable, and skilled Full-time maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep tasks throughout our Sundance Newton and Woodland Heights apartment communities in Newton, Iowa.
In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs and cleaning to ensure that our facilities are both tidy and functional. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job, as the ideal candidate will preferably have previous maintenance work experience and solid technical knowledge. You should have the manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary for this work.
Start Date: Immediately
Duties to include:
– Maintenance of buildings & units
– Light painting, landscaping, carpentry and turnover of units when tenants vacate
– Minor plumbing & electrical repairs
– Snow removal from walkways
Qualifications: Successful candidates should have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. Experience in apartment maintenance preferred, but not required. Must have excellent customer service skills, be a team player, self-motivator and have their own tools.
Compensation: Based upon experience.
