Premier Quality Homes is seeking an experienced, hands-on Construction Superintendent to oversee our custom home projects. We are a family-owned company that values quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and lasting relationships with our homeowners and trade partners.
The ideal candidate understands residential construction from foundation through final walkthrough, plans ahead, and takes ownership of jobsite progress and quality.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily field operations across multiple residential projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and deliveries to keep projects moving.
- Maintain construction schedules and communicate upcoming work and deadlines.
- Review plans, specifications, and selections to ensure work is completed accurately.
- Monitor workmanship and address deficiencies before the next phase begins.
- Keep jobsites clean, organized, and safe.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, and the office team.
- Maintain jobsite photos, daily logs, schedules, and to-do lists in Buildertrend.
- Identify potential delays or conflicts early and help resolve them.
- Coordinate punch list work and prepare homes for homeowner walkthroughs and final handoff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a residential construction superintendent or in a similar field leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of custom home construction, sequencing, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and hold subcontractors accountable.
- Comfortable using construction management software; Buildertrend experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to jobsites.
