Location: Dyersville, IA (Rose Garden Living)
Part-Time | Hourly Pay | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (On-Site)
Additional flexible hours may be required for resident events, social activities, or
prospective tenant tours.
Position Overview
The Community Manager is responsible for the on-site resident experience and daily
presence at Rose Garden Living. This is a part-time role heavily focused on resident
engagement and community building.
The role is approximately 25% property management responsibilities and 75% resident
engagement and relationship-building.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating community, and
being a daily positive presence for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Resident Experience & Community Engagement (75%)
- Build relationships with residents through daily interaction
- Host coffee hours, social events, and potlucks
- Recognize birthdays and milestones
- Send sympathy cards, birthday cards, and other thoughtful communications
- Create a welcoming community atmosphere
- Property Management Support (25%)
- Serve as on-site contact for resident questions
- Conduct tours of vacant units as needed
- Perform light walkthroughs of common areas
- Report maintenance issues
- Assist with vendor access
- Coordinate and/or perform light building cleaning and general upkeep of common areas (as needed)
Qualifications & Skills
- Comfortable using a computer and learning property management software
- Strong communication skills across in-person, phone, and email
- Friendly, approachable, and relationship-oriented personality
- Organized, dependable, and responsive
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
