- Support clinical procedures including medication administration, wound care, X-ray preparation, and basic life support (BLS) protocols
- Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes clearly and ensuring comfort throughout their visit
- Document medical information accurately using medical terminology and ICD coding for billing and record-keeping purposes
- Collaborate with healthcare providers in various specialties
Experience
- Prior experience working in hospital medicine or outpatient clinics is preferred
- Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical administrative support is essential
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medical terminology is required to ensure accurate documentation
- Previous exposure to medical-surgical settings or specialty clinics is desirable
