Job Title: Senior Designer

Classification: Full-Time, Exempt

Salary: DOE

Reports to: Creative Director

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am- 5pm

Location: In-Office (no remote), 5000 N Basin Ave., Portland, OR 97217

Requirements

What You'll Do: 

Working alongside our Creative Director and an experienced team of designers, you'll help shape creative work for national brands across a wide range of projects.

  • Develop creative concepts from idea to execution.
  • Design premium packaging, branded merchandise, retail experiences, print, and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Present work confidently to clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Sales, and Production to ensure every idea is beautifully executed.
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative creative culture.
  • Explore new materials, technologies, AI tools, and production techniques to continually push creative thinking.
  • Create compelling presentations, brand systems, and visual storytelling that inspire clients and elevate brands.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibility.


Required Qualifications:

  • 10 years of professional design experience.
  • Exceptional portfolio showcasing branding, packaging, merchandise, and integrated design.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and visual storytelling skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience presenting ideas and collaborating with clients.
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Premium packaging or CPG
  • Branded merchandise and promotional products
  • Retail or experiential design
  • Illustration or art direction
  • SketchUp, Fusion 360, or other 3D visualization tools
  • Motion graphics, video, or digital design
  • AI-assisted creative workflows

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and sit; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and push carts. The employee is occasionally required to stoop or kneel. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
