What are the responsibilities and job description for the Photographer's Assistant position at Premier Portraits Studio, LLC?
Premier Portraits is hiring! We are a small, family owned photography company with a fun, fast-paced environment. Experience is welcomed, though we do provide training specific for this job. Friendly and reliable people are wanted to join our team! We need photographer's assistants for help at our schools. The job is seasonal. Work is available from September to November. It does require early mornings.
You need to be available Monday-Friday, and some Saturday mornings. Hours are generally early morning-early-mid. afternoon.
Assistants are responsible for handling the paper work onsite. They represent the company to our clients and must be friendly and personable. Assistants help to organize photo day and sometimes assist in posing.
You must be able to remain standing for extended periods of time and safely lift and carry equipment up to 30 lbs. A valid driver’s license & reliable car is required. You will probably not use your car for work, but you need to be able to get to work without any issues.
You will be working with children PreK to age 18 on a daily basis, and must be willing to submit to a background/drug check. Strong attention to detail is also wanted.
We will be looking to phone interview first, followed by in person interviews the second & third week of August. A mandatory training will be held the third week of August.
Salary : $17 - $19
