Job Title: AI & Business Automation Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly strategic and technically skilled AI & Business Automation Specialist to help scale and optimize our pool service business. This role is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, implementing AI-driven systems, automating workflows, improving operational efficiency, and supporting data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with deep technical knowledge of artificial intelligence, automation platforms, integrations, and process optimization. This person will work closely with leadership to streamline operations, increase revenue, enhance customer experience, and build scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Implementation:
Analyze current business operations and identify opportunities to implement AI solutions.- Design and deploy AI tools for: - Customer communication (chatbots, automated follow-ups, scheduling assistants) - Lead generation and qualification - Sales pipeline management - Customer retention and upselling - Route optimization and technician scheduling - Service reporting automation- Research emerging AI technologies and recommend tools that improve efficiency and profitability.
Workflow Automation & Systems Integration:
Map and optimize business workflows from marketing → sales → scheduling → service → billing → retention.- Implement automation using tools such as CRM systems, workflow platforms, APIs, and integrations.- Connect and automate systems including: - CRM / Customer database - Scheduling & dispatch software - Billing & invoicing platforms - Marketing automation tools - Field service apps- Reduce manual work and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
Data & Growth Optimization:
Build dashboards and reporting systems to track KPIs such as: - Customer acquisition cost - Route efficiency - Technician productivity - Customer lifetime value - Revenue per stop- Use AI and analytics to recommend pricing strategies, service package improvements, and expansion opportunities.- Support marketing campaigns using AI-driven insights.
Process Improvement & Scaling:
Create scalable SOPs and automated processes to support business growth.- Improve customer experience through faster response times and personalized communication.- Implement predictive maintenance or smart scheduling concepts where applicable.- Assist in hiring systems, onboarding automation, and training workflow development.
Training & Change Management:
Train staff on new systems, AI tools, and automated workflows.- Provide ongoing support and optimization of implemented solutions.- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
Strong understanding of business operations, growth strategy, and service-based business models.- Deep knowledge of AI tools, automation platforms, integrations, APIs, and workflow design.- Experience implementing AI in real-world business environments.- Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation, and field service software.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions.- Project management experience and ability to execute independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with home service businesses (pool service, HVAC, landscaping, plumbing, etc.).- Knowledge of route optimization, technician dispatching, or recurring service models.- Experience with low-code / no-code automation tools.- Background in data analytics, machine learning, or business intelligence.- Entrepreneurial mindset with focus on ROI and scalability.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
