Position Overview
Premier Polymers LLC is a specialty chemical manufacturing company seeking an Entry-Level QC Laboratory Technician to support quality control testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career candidate looking to gain hands-on laboratory experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
·Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
· Support QC release testing and investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results
· Provide analytical support for R&D projects, formulation changes, and technology transfer
· Assist manufacturing with process troubleshooting, investigations, and optimization
·Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation (e.g., GC, HPLC, FTIR, UV-Vis, wet chemistry)
·Analyze and interpret data, prepare technical summaries, and maintain accurate documentation
·Follow established SOPs, quality systems, and safety requirements
Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
·3–7 years of experience in an industrial, QC, or manufacturing laboratory
·Hands-on experience with common analytical techniques and instrumentation
·Working knowledge of quality systems and laboratory documentation
·Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams
Preferred Experience
· Experience in specialty or industrial chemical manufacturing
· Method development, validation, or transfer experience
· Manufacturing or plant support experience
· Familiarity with LIMS and data trending or statistical analysis
