What are the responsibilities and job description for the Limited X-Ray Technician position at PREMIER PODIATRY AND ORTHOPEDICS?
Premier Podiatry & Orthopedics is looking to hire temporary Limited X-ray Technician/Medical Assistant for our Fair Oaks clinic. We offer podiatric and orthopedic services. This position would mainly be in our Fair Oaks office offering xrays to patients and helping out with back office Medical Assisting/Back Office/Admin duties.
Job duties include:
- Taking xrays of patients per Physicians Orders
- Operate software and EMR Athena
- Follow all procedures and protocols for X-rays
- Operate radiography equipment and help with the daily upkeep and maintenance on the machine and programs used
- Rooming Patients, taking vitals and entering data into EMR system Athena
- Cleaning exam rooms, stocking medical supplies
- Assisting the Physicians with procedures and tasks in the exam room
- Must be trained in Orthopedics and Podiatry
- Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Administrative tasks as needed
- Office tasks as needed
- Ordering Supplies/Inventory
- Assisting physicians with a wide range of tasks that are related to patient care
- Providing coverage for other Medical Assistants/Admin as needed with the possibility of supervisor.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Must be certified and qualified, valid CA state license for Radiology
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year experience preferred in medical office
- 3 month Temporary assignment
