The Role
As the Client Service Associate – Insurance, you will be a valuable partner in maintaining client relationships. Your primary responsibility will be to establish life and disability insurance policies for new and existing clients, while maintaining the regular, efficient, and timely service of existing policies. You are a critical team member who facilitates client communication and collaborates with financial advisors to provide comprehensive financial solutions to our valued clients. This role demands a strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and proactively maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Facilitates the application process of opening new life and disability insurance policies.
- Process ongoing updates to existing client life and disability insurance policies.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the firm’s CRM (Client Relationship Management) system, affecting timely updates as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to effectively create and maintain the firm’s daily logs, procedures, and processes to meet regulatory standards.
- General office administrative tasks
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher, preferably in business or financial-related studies.
- Two years of experience serving in an insurance agency or similar client-facing role is preferred.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using Client Relationship Management software (CRM) to update client information, document client notes, workflows, tasks, and appointments.
- Experience with life and disability insurance applications and servicing existing policies.
- Detail-oriented with organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Life insurance licenses are preferred, or the ability to obtain within three months.
Compensation & Benefits
- Expected starting annual salary range is $45k - $50K, commensurate with experience
