What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical / Technical Customer Account Specialist position at Premier Placements?

Our client is an established and growing Manufacturer or automotive components. They are located near the greater Fort Lauderdale FL area and seeking to add to their team a Customer Service Specialist with a background in or an aptitude for mechanical / technical customer support.
Required Experience:
- Successful track record of providing above and beyond customer service and developing customer relationships
- Previous experience providing written and oral technical customer service support
- Previously worked in a mechanical / technical environment explaining and helping customers trouble shooting with product items
- Must have a track record of handling a high level of administration and meetings customer deadlines consistently in a fast paced environment
- Accurate record keeping and reports activity
- Experience with processing customer service orders and transactions
Education / Skills Required:
- Associates Degree plus a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in customer service
- Customer Service in Manufacturing (highly desired)
- Above average computer Skills, MS office, Outlook, Excel, and general business software
- Able to stay customer focused in stressful and challenging situations
- Able to read technical drawings and relay in detail technical information to customers during trouble shooting process
- Detail oriented and organized, results driven and able to meet deadlines and departmental goals
- Analytical, problem solving and trouble shooting skills a must
- Above average reading, written comprehension and math skills
- Previous experience working in the automotive industry
