Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our physical therapy practice. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communication to ensure a smooth and efficient clinical experience. Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures to ensure a positive first impression.
- Schedule appointments accurately using electronic health record systems, accommodating patient needs and provider availability.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations necessary for treatment authorization.
- Maintain detailed and organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment reminders, pre-visit instructions, and follow-up care.
- Support medical staff by managing administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and documentation.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized front office environment that promotes professionalism and efficiency.
- Handle patient inquiries with professionalism, providing clear information about services, policies, and procedures.
Skills
- Proven experience working in a medical or healthcare office environment with strong administrative capabilities.
- Knowledge of medical terminology to accurately communicate clinical information.
- Experience supporting medical offices or clinics, particularly within physical therapy or dental practices preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
- Proficiency in office software applications and electronic health record systems.

- Wednesday 8am to 1pm [AM - Opening Shift]
