We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services in both residential and commercial settings. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
- Estimate materials and labor costs for painting projects.
- Execute restoration and renovation tasks as required.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various environments.
- Perform caulking and plastering to ensure smooth finishes.
- Collaborate with carpenters for trim carpentry and fixture installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project duration.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience in the following areas:
- Residential painting and commercial painting projects.
- Construction site experience with an understanding of construction processes.
- Proficiency in color theory and basic math for accurate measurements.
- Familiarity with industrial painting techniques and materials.
- Knowledge of masonry, concrete finishing, stucco application, and welding is a plus.
