We are seeking a reliable and motivated bilingual Medical Receptionist to join our front office team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, personable, and capable of handling a variety of administrative and clinical support tasks in a busy medical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, manage voicemails, and schedule appointments
- Handle insurance verifications and prior authorization requests
- Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and faxing documents
- Coordinate with other staff to ensure smooth office operations
Willingness to cross-train and assist in various clinical support areas, which may include:
- Collecting urine drug screens
- Taking and recording patient vital signs
- Rooming patients and preparing them for their visit with the provider
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous medical office or receptionist experience a plus
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation
- Willingness to assist with light clinical duties (training provided if needed)
