Oral Surgery Assistant position.

We are looking for a highly motived individual who is willing to work hard and wants to become part of our growing practice. This position requires ability to multi task in fast paced environment. excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist Oral Surgeon during numerous surgical procedure, including operators setup, anesthesia administration, monitoring vital signs.
- recovering, monitoring in recovery room and discharging patients after general anesthesia procedure.
- sterilizing instrument in compliance with OSHA Standard.
- stocking and ordering supplies.
- taking x-rays for patients.
- efficiently utilize practice software system for patient EMR, in addition to other software systems for patient communication.
- documenting patient treatment plans, pre & postoperative instructions.
- ability to Multi task such as clerical and administrative tasks, including answering phones and data entry and assist with scheduling patients when needed.
we do require
1. a minimum of 1 year of experience as an assistant in the dental or oral surgery field required.
2. CPR certificate required.
3. X-RAY certificate required.
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
