Role Description
This is a contract-based remote role for a Broker. The Broker will be responsible for facilitating energy trading transactions between global buyers and sellers, managing client relationships, and providing market insights. Key responsibilities include negotiating transaction terms, coordinating delivery schedules, conducting market analysis, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The role requires prompt and effective communication with clients and partners, as well as maintaining confidentiality throughout the transaction process.
Qualifications
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills
- Experience in market analysis, energy trading, or a related business field
- Familiarity with oil commodities such as BLCO, D6, D2, EN590, Jet A1, LPG, gasoline, LNG, and AGO
- Understanding of industry procedures such as NCNDA QTPI and compliance standards
- Proficiency in facilitating transactions with delivery terms such as TTO, TTT, CIF, and FOB
- Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in a remote work environment
- Previous experience in energy brokerage or trading is highly advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a related field is preferred
