JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer
SUMMARY: The Systems Engineer will be part of a Managed Services company that exclusively focuses on the SMB market. The Systems Engineer will support internal network systems of Premier Networx, and external network systems for SMB clients in the Greater Augusta Area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establishes network environments by designing system configurations, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
- Designing and implementing new solutions and improving existing infrastructure
- Investigates and thoroughly understands developments in systems engineering and computer technology
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in related field preferred
- Four to six years related experience or equivalent; experience with a Managed
Service company preferred
- Knowledge of SonicWall and Cisco
- Knowledge of MS Hyper-V/VMware or Azure administration and support
- Knowledge of Office 365 administration with domain synchronization
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing
priorities with enthusiasm
- Acute attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects
