Job Summary: Provide high quality timely care to patients. They are responsible for evaluating patients, managing their needs and performing procedures.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assess patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories and record relevant data in the medical records.
- Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic, radiological and laboratory studies appropriate for the patient’s condition.
- Serve as the resource a patient needs for ongoing care information, and provide guidance for any patients and family with critical or chronic conditions.
- Adhere to ethical standards of conduct as well as applicable state and federal laws.
- Work collaboratively with all members of the clinical care team and demonstrate respect for all colleagues.
- Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be a licensed CRNP.
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in a specialty division.
