Role Overview
As a Martial Arts Instructor at Premier Martial Arts, you will help lead fun, structured, high-energy classes for kids, teens, and families. You will work with students of different ages and skill levels, helping them learn martial arts fundamentals while also developing life skills that carry beyond the mat.
This role is part instructor, part mentor, part role model, and part community builder. The right person will be coachable, dependable, upbeat, and excited to grow with a values-driven martial arts studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with martial arts classes that are safe, energetic, organized, and age-appropriate.
- Help students build confidence, focus, discipline, respect, and self-control.
- Follow the Premier Martial Arts curriculum and class structure.
- Support student progress through attendance tracking, skill development, stripe checks, belt preparation, and testing events.
- Create a positive, encouraging experience for students and parents.
- Assist with student introductions, trial classes, orientations, birthday parties, community events, and special studio activities.
- Help maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming studio environment.
- Communicate clearly with students, parents, and team members.
- Represent Premier Martial Arts with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a strong service mindset.
Ideal Candidate Profile

- Dependable with reliable transportation.
Martial arts experience, teaching experience, coaching experience, childcare experience, or fitness instruction experience is a strong plus, but not required for the right person. We can train technique and curriculum. We cannot train someone to care about kids — that has to come naturally.
