MARTIAL ARTS INSTRUCTOR POSITION
Position Overview:
Martial Arts Instructor — Full-Time (20–35 hours/week)
Location: In-person
You’ll run group classes for kids and teens (age range typically 4–15), using PMA’s structured curriculum. You don’t need to be a black belt, but you do need at least 2 years of martial arts experience and strong classroom presence — most of our instructors come from Taekwondo, Karate, or Kickboxing backgrounds.
This role involves:
Weekly schedule (average 25–30 hours teaching & prep):
- Mon–Thu: 1:30–9:30 PM
- Sat: 9 AM–12 PM (plus birthday parties, ~2x/month)
- 2 Fridays/month: 6:30–8 PM (demo or parent nights)
What you'll do:
- Lead 3–5 group classes/day (high-energy, curriculum-based)
- Run belt tests and track student progress in PMA’s LMS
- Teach character-building Mat Chats from our BBE program
- Give intro lessons to prospective students (1–1 or small groups)
- Represent PMA at school visits, fairs, and demo events (2–4/month)

Requirements:
- 2 years martial arts experience (any style)
