Assistant Manager (General Manager)
Summary: Assist the General Manager is the efficient operations of the company. Responsibilities include but not limited to planning, coordinating and executing various project, scheduled maintenance and compliance items.
Job Duties:
- Understand and Following-up with various projects.
- Confer with internal customers regarding equipment maintenance
- Insure all critical items are appropriately stocked
- Reviews costs and making changes/recommendations to maintain and enhance profitable operation efficiency
- Develops plans for efficient use of materials, equipment, and employees
- Other duties as required and assigned
Requirements:
- Education & Experience: High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Food Industry preferred.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrate interest and knowledge within the Food Industry; maintain organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks; be able to work in a fast paced environment with decision-making and negotiating skills; implement effective oral and written communication skills.
- Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle objects and tools; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move light to moderate weight. Employee is occasionally required to operate equipment like forklifts.
