This role requires strong technical expertise, ownership mentality, and the ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced professional services environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage U.S. federal and state tax compliance for corporate and individual clientsSupport cross-border tax matters, including Japan–U.S. coordinationReview tax returns and workpapers prepared by staffServe as a day-to-day point of contact for clientsCoordinate with internal teams and external advisorsIdentify tax planning opportunities and support advisory projectsEnsure deadlines, quality standards, and internal controls are metJapanese is plusQualificationsCPA preferred (or in progress)5–10 years of relevant tax experience (public accounting preferred)Strong knowledge of U.S. corporate and individual taxationExperience with international or cross-border tax matters a plusStrong communication, organizational, and leadership skillsAbility to work independently and manage competing priorities
