Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Craftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks to support projects to completion. We specialize in new construction, home remodeling, flooring and custom tile work. Our ideal candidate would have experience in multiple specialties and willing to learn new skills; Including but not limited to custom tile work, flooring, finish work, carpentry, plumbing, drywall, masonry and design.
Responsibilities:
- Work on construction sites performing tasks such as floor prep and cleanup, hanging and finishing Sheetrock, painting, mixing mortar, and assisting with building and remodeling bathrooms and kitchens and so much more. Our candidate needs to have experience that can be displayed in the following areas with a skills test: pay will be determined then.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks.
- Demonstrate techniques with sheetrock, plumbing, trim carpentry, tile setting, caulking, floor installation and other construction-related activities.
Candidate must have:
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites, and be punctual daily.
-Cellular device & great communication skills
-The ability to tolerate high and low weather temps
-Heavy lifting regularly 50-75 pounds on average
-Time management & motivated to stay on task.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools to shape and cut various materials including wood, tile, Sheetrock, concrete underlayments, etc.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols.
- Knowledge of framing, plumbing, trim carpentry, masonry, caulking, and floor installation and tile installation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, follow instructions accurately, and meet regular attendance expectations. Must be reliable, dependable and independent.
Job Type: Full-time & Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience that can be displayed & job position
Expected hours: 40 hours a week on average 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
