Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, nursing homes, and community organizations to promote hospice services
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and educational presentations to healthcare professionals and prospective patients’ families
- Negotiate service agreements and coordinate care plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Manage accounts by tracking referrals, follow-ups, and ensuring timely communication between all parties involved
- Provide clear and compassionate communication regarding hospice options, benefits, and processes to patients and families
- Collaborate with medical sales teams to deliver technical information about hospice services and related healthcare products
- Analyze referral patterns and market data to identify opportunities for outreach growth and service improvement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, medical sales, or pharmaceutical sales with a focus on healthcare services or end-of-life care products
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent account management capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively engage diverse audiences
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels
- Outside sales experience preferred, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint for creating presentations and reports
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Analysis skills to interpret market data and identify strategic outreach opportunities
